True Health, True Freedom

Why I Chose Enagic
I used to think I was too smart for MLMs.
Back when I worked as a business analyst, with a degree, a comfortable salary, and a title that looked impressive on LinkedIn, I wore that identity like armour. I’d see people posting about their “business opportunity” online and think:
“This is for people with no education, no career prospects… not for someone like me.”
I could sell, sure. But I didn’t need to. I had stability, benefits, and the approval of a society that told me I was successful.
But here’s what I didn’t have: time, freedom, or real health. I was fitting my life into the cracks between work commitments, and I didn’t even realise how much of myself I was trading away for a payslip.
Then lockdown came. Everything stopped. And I had to face the truth: prestige didn’t matter anymore. I wanted to be healthy, have the freedom to choose how I spent my days, and build something that would last.
The places where people live well into old age
When you strip away the noise of modern life and start looking for real examples of health and freedom, you find they rarely exist in corporate offices or on the hamster wheel of a career ladder.
They exist in pockets of the world where people live longer, healthier, and more independent lives than almost anywhere else. These are the Blue Zones — places where people regularly live into their 90s and beyond, with mobility, mental clarity, and a deep sense of purpose.
Okinawa, Japan — Home to the longest-living women in the world. The culture is built on plant-rich diets, strong community bonds (moai), and the philosophy of ikigai — a reason to get up every morning.
Sardinia, Italy — Known for exceptional male longevity, active lifestyles, and family-centric living.
Nicoya, Costa Rica — Where the water is naturally high in calcium and magnesium, the diet is based on beans and squash, and community ties run deep.
Ikaria, Greece — Famous for its low rates of dementia and chronic disease, daily movement, and Mediterranean diet.
Loma Linda, California — A Seventh-Day Adventist community where plant-based eating, rest days, and faith-based social networks extend lifespan.
In these places, health isn’t a bio hack or a supplement stack. It’s woven into daily life — natural movement, clean food and water, strong social connections, and a sense of purpose.
In Okinawa specifically, studies show that elders remain independent and active decades longer than in many other countries. Their concept of nuchigusui — food as medicine — and hara hachi bu — eating until you’re 80% full — are simple but powerful habits that keep them healthy well into old age.
Why Okinawa hit me in the heart
Last year, I travelled to Okinawa for the 50th anniversary of Enagic, the company whose business model I’d once dismissed as “not for people like me.”
And standing there, surrounded by people from all over the world who were connected not just by a business but by a shared commitment to health, sustainability, and freedom, I realised something important — this was nothing like the high-pressure, Americanised MLMs I had always distrusted.
Okinawa wasn’t just the company’s headquarters. It was its philosophy.
Longevity — Not chasing quarterly targets, but building something that lasts.
Sustainability — One high-quality machine designed to last 25+ years, reducing plastic waste and replacing disposable culture.
True Health — Physical, financial, and mental well-being, rooted in prevention and education.
Community First — A culture of mentorship, not competition.
It mirrored the same values that make Okinawans some of the healthiest people on earth.
Why I said No to MLM… until now
Before lockdown, I had looked into network marketing and walked away every time.
Low-ticket MLMs tend to work like this:
You sell hundreds of small, often overpriced products
You have to hit monthly targets to keep your rank
Commissions are small, so you need to sell in huge volumes
You’re pressured to recruit constantly to maintain your income
Products often rely on trends, subscriptions, or auto-ship traps
It felt like hustle culture on steroids. And it didn’t align with my values.
The Enagic Difference
When I looked at Enagic more closely, I realised how different it was from what I’d seen before:
Low-Ticket MLMs | Enagic | |
Products | Dozens or hundreds of low-value items | One core product (medical-grade water ionizer) |
Targets | Monthly quotas, deranking if missed | No quotas, no deranking — ever |
Commissions | Small per sale, need high volume | High-ticket = high commission per sale |
Culture | Pressure-driven, competitive | Mentorship, community focus |
Sustainability | Often plastic-heavy, disposable | Durable 25+ year machines, eco-conscious |
It’s a model designed for the long term, with health and sustainability at its core.
In a World of Instant Gratification
We’re living in a time where every second ad is an influencer promising you can make $10K a month from your phone with no experience — plug into an AI tool and watch the money roll in.
It’s seductive. But for most people, it’s a trap. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
A sustainable, long-term business — one that supports your health and doesn’t burn you out — takes more than a trending hack or a clever app. It takes:
Learning real skills
Surrounding yourself with the right environment
Having mentorship from those who’ve walked the path
Adapting as the world changes
Investing in yourself and your business
Giving it time to grow
The beauty of Enagic’s model is that it doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. You can start it as a side hustle that fits around your life.
And unlike the “opportunities” that disappear as fast as they appear, this model has been proven for decades. It’s survived economic crises. It’s thriving today.
Instead of chasing the $10K/month dream immediately, ask yourself:
What would change if you made an extra $500 a month?
Would you:
Upgrade your groceries to organic without stressing over the cost?
Take a weekend away every month?
Pay off debt faster?
Start a savings fund for something you’ve been putting off?
Sometimes, the biggest shifts in freedom start small.
Health + Wealth: Two Sides of the Same Freedom
When examining the Blue Zones, it becomes clear that health and freedom are deeply intertwined.
If your body is strong, you stay independent longer.
If your finances are secure, you can make more informed choices about your health.
Enagic builds both. You’re not just selling a machine — you’re introducing people to clean, mineral-rich water and a business model that can free up their time and income.
For me, that combination of physical health, environmental sustainability, and financial independence is the definition of true wealth.
My Belief Shift
When I first heard of Enagic, the old part of me — the one who wore “corporate professional” like a badge of honour — dismissed it instantly.
But the part of me who had lived through lockdown, who had realised how fragile traditional “security” really was, couldn’t ignore it.
I no longer wanted my worth to be tied to a job title. I wanted to design my days, not fit life into my lunch breaks. I wanted to work in a way that gave me energy instead of draining it.
I wanted the freedom to choose.
If you’re curious
I’m not here to convince you.
If you’ve ever thought “MLM isn’t for me,” maybe it’s time to look again… and ask whether it’s the model you object to, or the way most companies run it.
Enagic changed that for me. Maybe it could for you, too.
Fill out this quick form, and I’ll send you more information on the business, the product, and the philosophy behind it — no pushy calls, no pressure. I will just share the facts, so you can decide if it’s right for you.
