My Story – From Struggle to True Health & Freedom

For years, I searched for true health, freedom, and purpose. But my journey wasn’t a straight line - it was filled with struggles, wake-up calls, and major transformations.


The Wake-Up Call: When Success Doesn’t Equal Happiness

When I moved to the UK, my life changed overnight. Suddenly, I was in a new country, away from everything familiar—family, traditions, and structure. Within just 12 months, I went from a size 10 to a size 16. I lost my confidence, buried my emotions in alcohol and food, and ignored what my body was desperately trying to tell me.


My gut was inflamed, my energy was non-existent, and a cancer scare deepened my fear. Yet my struggles weren't just physical. On the outside, I looked successful. My career was linear—I climbed the corporate ladder, chasing money, growth, and status. But personally? My life was absolute chaos.


Two divorces later, I started seeing patterns repeat—my relationships always involved addiction, in one form or another. I was attracting what I hadn’t healed. For years, I believed that working harder, earning more, or achieving enough would finally fulfil me. But deep inside, something was always missing.


The Turning Point: Health Became My Foundation

At 35, yoga called to me. Initially, yoga was purely physical—but through my daily practice, something shifted. I began moving energy through my body, uncovering hidden layers and starting my journey to self-awareness. Yoga became a powerful tool, helping me release emotional trauma and finally confront my reliance on alcohol.


But yoga alone wasn’t enough. My body needed deeper support and strength, which led me to Pilates. Pilates provided me with the structural awareness, physical knowledge, and core strength I desperately needed, especially due to the injuries I'd accumulated over the years. Pilates complemented the emotional release and self-awareness I had begun cultivating through yoga.


Lockdown and Another Wake-Up Call

In 2019, I left the corporate world to teach yoga and Pilates full-time. Then, in 2020, lockdown turned all our lives upside down. For a busybody like me, being stuck at home was incredibly challenging—until I realized that being busy had always been my coping mechanism. Forced to slow down, I finally faced myself.


Just before lockdown, we welcomed dogs into our life, and they became one of my greatest joys and grounding forces. When life reopened, I knew I couldn’t return to the old hustle and burnout. Instead, I launched my online business and relocated to the Czech Republic to care for my dad, who had suffered a car accident in 2020.


This major life shift led me deeper into self-development, revealing even more unhealed trauma now that I was back in my homeland. This powerful journey eventually brought me to Neurosomatic Attunement (NSA), closing the loop on my healing and bringing me closer to my soul and purpose.

Now, I combine movement, breathwork, fasting, mindset, and nervous system regulation to guide others toward transformations I wish I'd known about 20 years ago.
